Beaver Section Team Leader
Help Deliver Skills For Life.
Would you like the chance to go camping, climbing, potholing, lead community projects while helping prepare young people with skills for life? As a section leader you will do all of this and more, using your skills and learning new ones.
As part of Sissinghurst Beaver Colony, you will be planning and delivering a safe and exiting programme for young people aged 6 to 8 years of age, making sure every young person gets the chance to spend at least one night away each year.
You'll use your energy and creativity to help young people have fun, develop there potential and earn a wide range of badges and awards, including the prestigious Chief Scouts Awards. Of course you won't have to do this alone - a team of supporters, parents and the young people themselves will help you plan and deliver the program. But its your enthusiasm and sense of fun that will inspire them.

Beaver Section Team Member
Make a bird box; transform a future.
Would you like the chance to canoe, climb and make a bird box while improving your CV? As a section assistant with the Sissinghurst Beaver Colony you will do all of this and more, using your current skills and learn new ones.
We now need a fun, committed person to support our young people aged 6 to 8 years of age, helping run games and activities as part of weekly meetings. As part of a small team, you will plan and deliver a safe and exiting programme for our young people, helping them achive badges and awards.
Enthusiasm, an empathy with young people and a sense of humour are a must. But we can teach you the rest. We will support you all the way and ensure you get the training and support you need. You will be required to carry out a DBS check.

Squirrel Section Team Member

Would you like the chance to help introduce our youngest members to Scouting? As a section team member you will do this and more, using your skills and learning new ones.
As part of Sissinghurst Squirrel Drey, you will be helping to plan and deliver a safe and exiting programme for our Squirrel Scouts aged 4 & 5 years of age, including giving them a chance to spend at least one night away each year.
You'll use your energy and creativity to help the young people have fun, develop their potential and earn a wide range of badges and awards, including the prestigious Chief Scouts Acorn Award. Of course you won't have to do this alone - a team of supporters, parents and the young people themselves will help you plan and deliver the program. But its your enthusiasm and sense of fun that will inspire them.
